Newmarket Skating Club Multi-Sport Summer Camp

MULTI WEEK DISCOUNT WILL BE OFFERED

WEEK #1- July 7-11

WEEK # 7- August 18-22

Campers (Canskate Level) will participate in at least 1 hour of one ice and one hour of off ice training

Canskate Campers must be at least 5 years of age

Campers that are in the Bronze/Silver/Gold Level will have at least 2 hours of ice and one hour of off ice daily. (Coaching during the sessions will be billed directly by your Coach)

These two weeks of camp we will have an onsite special visit or a Special Craft . (Zootek visit, Magician, Build-A -Bear are all possibilities this week…. wait and see what the surprise visit may be!)

These two weeks are NON swim weeks

The remainder of the afternoon will be spent doing multi sport activities, games and arts and crafts. Pizza Fridays and Camp T-Shirt will be provided. Each week will be a theme week. ALL PROGRAMS WILL TAKE PLACE AT MAGNA CTR.

Cost - $400 each week

Skate and Swim Weeks.

WEEK #4 July 28-August 1

Week # 6 Aug 11-15

Campers (Canskate Level) will participate in at least 1 hour of one ice and one hour of off ice training

Campers that are in the Bronze/Silver/Gold Level will have at least 2 hours of ice and one hour of off ice daily.

Participants will work towards completing a specific Learn to Swim level in a low instructor to swimmer class ratio with the Town of Newmarket/Magna Pool in the afternoon. You are required to enroll in both WEEK 2 & WEEK 3 or Week 4& Week 6 to successfully complete a Swimming badge/level.

Additionally, campers will participate in both outdoor and indoor activities, sports, arts and crafts and games.

Pizza Fridays and Camp T-Shirt will be provided. Each week will be a different theme week ALL PROGRAMS WILL TAKE PLACE AT MAGNA CTR.

Cost -$450.00 each week

WEEK # 5 Aug 5-8 ( SHORT WEEK- 4 days)

Campers (Canskate Level) will participate in at least 1 hour of one ice and one hour of off ice training

Canskate Campers must be at least 5 years of age

Campers that are in the Bronze/Silver/Gold Level will have at least 2 hours of ice and one hour of off ice daily.

Campers will participate in a daily afternoon recreational swim on Tuesday and Thursday. Campers participating in this program will be supervised by our own Newmarket SC Counselors as well as the Town of Newmarket Certified Lifeguards at the Magna Pool.

Cost - $315.00

Week 1 through 7 StarSkate Training Camp

Newmarket Skating Club will be offering StarSkaters, Bronze through Gold, at least two hours of on ice time as well as one hour of off ice daily. Seminars will be offered on topics such as nutrition, goal setting, media training and much more. Off ice classes will include, but not be limited to, flexibility, mobility and cardiovascular training in preparation for the upcoming fall season.

Full Day Camp: 8:30 am-4:00pm (Must be 5+ years old) Drop off as early as 8am

Training Camp: 8:00am-2pm

Training Camp do not participate in any Camp Activities

Summer Pricing:

Camp Price Weeks 1/7 $400.00

Camp Price Weeks 2/3/4/6 (Swimming Package) $450.00

Training Skater Package $325.00

Due to Skate Canada’s required coach-to-student ratios, Newmarket Skating Club has very limited capacity to offer adaptive or inclusive coaching for campers with exceptional needs.
