Notice of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Newmarket Skating Club will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting will be conducted in person at the Magna Centre for the following purposes:

1. To receive the report of the Directors and the financial statements for the year ended August 31, 2026.
2. To confirm the 2026–2027 Board of Directors. In accordance with the Newmarket Skating Club’s new bylaws, the Board of Directors is limited to a maximum of five (5) voting Directors.
3. The current Board was comprised of six (6) Directors. One Director has concluded her term, bringing the Board to five (5)  Directors, in accordance with the Club’s new bylaws. The five remaining Directors will continue to serve for the second year of their 2025–2027 terms.

No election will be required at this Annual General Meeting.

To consider and transact any other business properly brought before the meeting.

Voting

No election vote will be required at this Annual General Meeting. In accordance with the Club’s new bylaws, the Board is limited to a maximum of five (5) voting Directors. With one Director having concluded her term, the remaining five Directors will continue into the second year of their existing terms.
